I write essays and creative nonfiction about culture and gender and the divide between urban and rural America. I’ve written about women and prison and traversing cultures in features for Scripps Magazine, and I’m writing a memoir about working at a big bank during the credit crisis, an experience that was unexpectedly a source of both absurd comedy and righteous anger.
