Marie Condron is an American writer and entrepreneur. A native of West Virginia, she has lived in Los Angeles for 20 years, where she’s a principal and co-founder of Ocean & Mountain, a communications consulting agency advancing social justice causes. She has run a dot-com startup on emerging trends that was recognized by The New York Times, InStyle, O: The Oprah Magazine, TIME and more. She has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal and Los Angeles Times and has spoken on panels about communications, entrepreneurship and her work revitalizing downtown L.A. She has written columns, speeches and created award-winning publications for executives in philanthropy, business, and for the mayor of L.A. She writes essays and creative nonfiction, and is writing a memoir about working at a big bank during the credit crisis.
